Hailing from the bright state of California, DJ Dimepiece “The Mixin’ Vixen” came to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her college career at Fisk University. Always desiring to get into radio, Dimepiece began interning at the University’s radio station, 88.1 WFSK to interning at Blazin 106.7 to landing a part time position as an on-air personality/DJ. She then joined Huntsville, Alabama’s number one hip hop and R&B station, Power 93.3. Through hard work and dedication, DJ Dimepiece landed a position at Cincinnati’s 101.1 The WIZ, Monday thru Friday from 10pm- 2am on her specialty show, “Dime Time Radio” where she hosted and mixed. DJ Dimepiece had a desire for more and relocated to the country’s third largest city, Chicago to pursue her career in radio and become a prominent DJ. Her career soon took off in Chicago when she was chosen to star alongside finalists on VH1’s reality TV show and DJ Competition, Master of The Mix. After two years at the Windy City’s number one station, 107.5 WGCI-FM and DJing at some of the city’s premiere clubs, DJ Dimepiece accepted a full time position in Columbus, Ohio as the new night personality on WCKX-FM Power 107.5. She was later promoted to Middays on WCKX-FM Power 107.5 and Afternoon Drive Personality with Music Director title at WIZF-FM 101.1 The Wiz in Cincinnati, Ohio. She returned to Television with a weekly Celebrity Gossip Segment on Cincinnati’s Fox 19. In addition, Dimepiece has become an award winning DJ to winning Best Female DJ of the Year several times at the Southern Entertainment Awards, Global Mixx Awards, Ohio Hip Hop Awards, Diamond Awards and Revolt TV’s Global Spin Awards where she currently holds the title for 2017 Best Female DJ. DJ Dimepiece has since parted ways from Cincinnati Radio and TV and pursuing other aspirations.
