The Super Bowl is almost here. This Sunday at Metlife Stadium in New York, the Seattle Seahawks will go against the Denver Broncos. Who do you all have for picks? My opinion, I think Seattle will this pull this off. It's Seattle's time and maybe a little of Macklemore luck from winning at the Grammy's help them win this game as well.

Over the last five years XXL editors, blog writers, and etc. have all voted and created ballots for the top 10 freshman artist to be on the scene for that year. The way artist are selected is by who has a buzz for themselves in the industry before the magazine coverage. XXL takes note of these artist via urban blog sites, youtube, and also who are these record labels are interested in signing. Drake (suppose to be class of 2009), Kendrick Lamar (class of 2011), and Macklemore (class of 2012) are just a few artist who have been noted on a bigger scale than just the urban awards. These are artist who have been nominated and won grammy's for their outstanding work in the music industry. For the newcomers who are going to be in the class of 2014, they have a lot of work to do. Macklemore set the bar high for them by winning four grammy's this past Sunday.

First off, lets congratulate Macklemore of his winning at the Grammy's this past Sunday. He definitely had an outstanding year in 2013, with three songs that sat number one on the Billboards Top 100 chart for numerous months and days. On the other hand Kendrick Lamar had just the better year. From releasing his debut album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City he has had numerous singles that have received radio play and he had buzzing, controversial features that left the music industry pay attention to him more.
Recently Macklemore, was on Hot 97 in New York via a phone interview and he explained why the Grammy committees chose him over Kendrick Lamar for best rap artist. According to Macklemore, "the grammy committee's are basically a bunch of people who fill out bubbles of genre's that they really don't know about."
