Neil C. Jackson’s life has been blessed with a variety of music influences – from gospel and jazz, to rock n’ roll and R&B, to the classics. The host of the Quiet Storm has had an interesting journey. Born in North Middletown, KY, the Bourbon County native has always had a love of music.
He sang in his church choir starting as a young child, and his love of The Cosby Show influenced him to play the trombone as another musical outlet. His talent and commitment to learning as much as he could about the music industry earned him a music scholarship to Eastern Kentucky University. Jackson has had an interesting career, from performing in a Dixieland Band at Kentucky Kingdom and to doing the same at Opryland.
