DallaRina is quickly emerging as one of Lexington’s most exciting rising artists, bringing high-energy anthems and raw storytelling to the forefront of her sound. In just a short time, the 20-year-old rapper and songwriter has built momentum with a string of singles and her debut EP Coming Out, led by standout tracks like “Shaking Butt,” “5 Star,” and “Come Outside.”

Beyond her musical pursuits, Tina is a mother of two and a medical professional, balancing her artistic endeavors with her commitment to healthcare.

ROC ForShort (Respect Original Creation)

ROC ForShort (Respect Original Creation) is from Lexington, KY. His influences range from Boys ll Men to John Mayer to Kendrick Lamar. He has way too many influences really. He gives a vibe between J Cole and Kendrick Lamar. At least that’s what he’s been constantly told.

ROC ForShort is a HipHop & R&B artist from Lexington, KY. Being profoundly family oriented, his major influences are his brother and his cousin who he grew up rapping with. He is one of many musically inclined people in his family. ROC started rapping in the second grade and singing in the fourth grade, growing to be in many theater musicals, all-state chorus, and making his own music, throughout middle and high school.

ROC released his first serious project in 2021 titled “As I Am” on May 30th.His next project was released November 4th ,in honor of his late mother for her birthday, as an R&B EP titled Love Goes. He’s opened for big names such as Afro Man, K Stylist, Gorilla Zoe, Jacquees and was personally asked by Louisville, KY natives Nappy Roots to open for them.

How would you describe the BANDj Experience? Hmm. Let’s say a live concert, a club, and a music theory class had a baby. Something like that. We are here to bring you great music and a great time. The music speaks for itself, but the way we manipulate melodies, chop cords and break down beats is like no other.

The BANDj Experience consists of A-Boogie, our bassist. DRetro, our drummer. And Forerunner, our DJ.

A-Boogie is a well versed musician from Detroit, MI by way of Lexington, KY. She’s grown from playing in the church to now playing all genres of music. She adds the swag to the crew. She lives by “…being Simply Made”.

DRetro is a musician from the mall town of Natchez, Mississippi. He is a versatile drummer who has played with several artists. His musical knowledge allows him to adapt and helps broaden our playing capabilities. He lives by the motto “Remember Why You Play”. DJ Forerunner is a musician and open format DJ From Cincinnati, OH. He is our International Experience Curator. He’s played for some of the top clubs, fortune 500 companies and radio stations Nationwide.
