Neil C. Jacksons life has been blessed with a variety of music influences. From gospel to jazz the host of the Quiet Storm has had an interesting jorney. Born in bourbon county, sang in church choir, love of the Cosby show cartoon helped him choose Trombone as his instument of expresion. Got a music scolarship at Eastern Ky Univerity. Performed in a Dixieland Band at Kentucky Kingdom and Opryland. 1989 He joined the U.S. Amry serving in the Infantry awarded numerous comendations and medals for his service. A Desert Storm vet he was Honorably Discarged in 1996 in Texas where his Broadcasting journey began.In 1997 he came back to Kentucky and worked for various stations and as P.a. announcer for the Men o War hockey team and the Lexington Horsemen Football team in Rupp Arena. In 2009 he joined Lm Communications as a part time producer, then became Morning traffic reporter for The Steve Harvey morning Show and 5 other Lm stations. In 2010 the Quiet Storm was joined by Neil Jackson getting a 3rd hour. He also is the color analist for high school basketball on Gamenight Hoorah! on Espn 1300. Be his Friend on Facebook at Neil C.
