We’re back at it — new week, new heat. Let’s jump straight into it.

Doe boy – “Last Hope” (Album)

Doeboy just dropped his new album Last Hope, and this one goes hard. It’s packed with energy, street motivation, and that raw sound he’s known for. The production and flow hit just right, making it one of those projects you can play all the way through.

Lola Brooke – “Wassup Wit It” (Single)

Next up, Lola Brooke with “Wassup Wit It.” This single has that classic New York feel — gritty, confident, and full of attitude. Lola might only be 5 feet tall, but when she’s on the mic, she’s a giant. She proves once again she’s got that star power.

Mobb Deep – “Infinite” (Album)

The legends are back. Mobb Deep dropped a new album called Infinite, and it’s everything fans could want. My favorite track? “Look At Me” featuring The Clipse — pure fire. The project captures that signature Mobb Deep energy we grew up on. Rest in peace to Prodigy — he’d definitely be proud of this one.

Local Artist Spotlight – Yella Boi’z  – “Grams & Bricks” (Album)

This week’s spotlight goes to Yella Boi’z, made up of Chris Newby aka Sosa and Michael Mosley aka Desiel. The two met about 13 years ago at a freestyle session with friends, and the vibe was instant — that’s where it all started.

Their new album Grams & Bricks gives off major Three 6 Mafia vibes — one of my favorite groups to listen to. My favorite joints off the album are “Sweat” and “Work TWERK.” The chemistry between Sosa and Desiel shines through every track, and the production hits heavy.

They said it took eight months to complete the album — finding the right beats and topics that reflect their lives. Sosa’s favorite track is “Sweat” because it reminds him of summer and getting summertime fly, while Desiel’s pick is “Shoebox.”

They’ve got a new video dropping next month, are opening for T-rell, and already working on their next album. Concerts, bookings, and more music on the way — the Yella Boi’z are coming to a hood near you.

That’s it for this week’s Music Mondays.
Catch you next time — and as always,

stay FLY
