Alright, we’re back again with your weekly rundown of the hottest new drops, and this week’s Local Artist Spotlight is bringing some serious heat. Let’s dive in!
Hit-Boy & The Alchemist – Goldfish
First up, Hit-Boy and The Alchemist just dropped Goldfish, a smooth, laid-back album that’s perfect for those relaxed vibes. The production is top-notch, and the chemistry between these two legends is undeniable. If you’re in the mood for something chill but still fire, Goldfish is for you. My favorite track? Drawing Bridge, it’s the one that’ll have you vibing for hours.
Rod Wave & Tee Grizzley – Voicemail
Next, we got a solid collab between Rod Wave and Tee Grizzley on Voicemail. These two bring the realness in their own unique ways, blending Rod Wave’s soul with Tee Grizzley’s raw energy. If you haven’t heard it yet, you’re missing out, this one’s a heavy hitter.
Megan Thee Stallion – Lover Girl
Megan Thee Stallion is back in the booth with a new single, Lover Girl, and it’s got that classic Megan energy. The track is upbeat, fun, and perfect for anyone looking to feel good and turn up. Megan’s signature flow is all over this one.
Moneybagg Yo ft. G Herbo – Feet on Land
And then, we’ve got a surprising yet dope collab between Moneybagg Yo and G Herbo on Feet on Land. These two went off, and it’s one of my favorite joints to drop this weekend. G Herbo really found his rhythm on this track, and Moneybagg Yo keeps it solid as always. If you haven’t heard it, now’s the time to tune in.
Local Artist Spotlight: So Serious Black – Waiting Room
This week’s Local Artist Spotlight is on So Serious Black and his latest single, Waiting Room. Mixing country influences with hip-hop, So Serious Black has created a unique sound that’s all his own—something you might feel if you vibe with BigXThaPlug’s recent work. Originally intended for an album, Waiting Room became a standout single that embodies the grind and determination to rise above the haters. Since 2021, So Serious Black has evolved both as an artist and a man, overcoming serious injuries and finding new strength and focus, which led to signing with Biohazardous Records. His sound draws from his Southern roots, blending influences from George Strait to Nate Dogg, with a storytelling approach that brings those country elements into his hip-hop style. With his show coming up in Louisville on December 6th at the WWME Music Hall, So Serious Black is just getting started. Be sure to check out Waiting Room and stay tuned for more from this rising artist.
