Music Mondays:Music You Should Check Out 2.23.26

untitled-3-2

A lot of music dropped this week, so let’s get straight to it. If you’re looking for something new to add to your rotation, I got you.

Baby Keem – Casino (Album)

Baby Keem just dropped a brand-new album called Casino, and if you’ve been rocking with his sound, you already know he’s bringing that experimental, melodic, high energy vibe. Definitely worth diving into if you’re a fan of Keem’s evolution.

SZA – “Save the Day” (Single)

SZA is back with a new single called “Save the Day,” which is set to appear on the soundtrack for Disney’s upcoming movie Hoppers. SZA continues to prove why she’s one of the top voices in R&B right now, and this one fits perfectly for a big-screen moment.

Ty Dolla $ign ft. Leon Thomas – “Miss u 2” (Single)

Ty Dolla $ign linked up with Leon Thomas for “Miss You Too,” and it’s a smooth R&B record that hits if you’re into chill vibes and strong vocals.

Lady London ft. Muni Long – “Buy Me Something” (Single)

Lady London dropped “Buy Me Something” featuring Muni Long, and this one blends bars with melody really well. Both artists deliver, and it’s a joint worth checking out.

Local Artist Spotlight: Trap Quidi – “My Way”

This week’s Local Artist Spotlight goes to Trap Quidi and his latest single “My Way.”

On the track, Quidi shows a more versatile side of his sound and reflects on his journey as an artist. He says the record represents growth and maturity, adding:

“I had to show them I got more in the vault as an artist—my story is real, so I can give a versatile sound from all aspects of a record.”

Quidi also shared that traveling across the United States helped him develop his sound and expand his perspective. One of the biggest lessons he’s learned in the industry is that “it’s 90% business and 10% music and talent,” which shows he’s thinking beyond just the music.

Outside of “My Way,” Trap Quidi is gearing up for a trilogy mixtape titled Don’t Like Me Now, and he plans to drop new music every month this year. He says he’s back and locked in, so expect a lot more releases and content coming soon.

If you haven’t tapped in yet, “My Way” is a solid introduction to Trap Quidi’s sound and what he’s building.

I’m ALWAYS looking for artists to feature.
