6lack – “Ashin the Blunt” (feat. Young Thug)
6lack comes through with his new single “Ash in the Blunt,” featuring Young Thug, and it’s a smooth, laid-back record with that hazy trap feel. The production sits right in that pocket where it’s relaxed but still catchy, and both artists complement each other well. Thug adds his signature unpredictable flow, giving the track extra bounce without taking away from the vibe Black sets.
Key Glock – “Go”
Key Glock returns with “Go,” and it’s exactly what fans expect.. clean, confident, and straight to the point. No features, no distractions, just Glock doing what he does best over hard production. It carries that same energy and independence fans have come to love, and it definitely feels like a record Young Dolph would’ve been proud of.
Chris Brown – “Brown” (Album)
Chris Brown dropped his highly anticipated album “Brown,” coming in at 27 tracks. I’m not really a fan of super long projects. I always feel like 12–15 songs is the sweet spot but I know a lot of people actually enjoy when artists give that much music because it gives them more to choose from and more chances for records to grow on you over time.
The album itself blends R&B, trap, and upbeat records, showing off Chris Brown’s usual versatility. With a tracklist this size, everything won’t hit the same on first listen, but there are definitely some standout moments once you sit with it.
One of the strongest records on the project is “Call Your Name” featuring Sexyy Red and GloRilla. That track brings a fun, high-energy bounce and stands out immediately as one of the most replayable joints on the album…. for me
Overall, “Brown” is a project that feels built for different types of listeners whether you tap in front to back or just run your favorite tracks there’s something in there for everybody.
🎤 Local Artist Spotlight – BoutToBlow Elbee
This week’s Local Artist Spotlight goes to BoutToBlow Elbee, an artist bringing Detroit hustle, soulful storytelling, and motivational energy into his music. His latest single, “In My Bag,” is a reflection of grinding from the ground up and staying locked in on your goals no matter what.
“Nothing ever came easy, we had to get it out the mud.”
Elbee describes his sound as a mix of old-school soul and new school energy, blending R&B melodies with hip-hop influence and emotional storytelling. While the record has a turnt feel, the message stays rooted in motivation and self-belief.
“Everything I’m doing is to ensure my kids a future.”
Looking ahead, Elbee is gearing up to release his upcoming EP, “Integra Vol. 1 (GrandMa’s House),” dropping June 5th on all streaming platforms. The project will give fans a deeper look into his story and journey as he continues building his name.
“I want to build a relationship with my fanbase by letting them get to know me through my projects.”
Keep BoutToBlow Elbee on your radar … more music is on the way. 🔥
